The restaurant HORA MEDIA is set in a building of the impressive Abbazia di San Pietro in Valle. The restaurant’s name refers to the Benedictine origin of the abbey.
For your wedding HORA MEDIA can provide a catering service with privileged location in the Abbey. Our indoor kitchen does not damage the harmony of the landscape and medieval architecture like gazebo or mobile kitchen do. We also organize wedding receptions in other locations in Umbria.
Our cooking is made of harmonious contrasts, typical products and all the culinary specialities our beautiful region and specifically Valnerina offers. To mention a few: olive oil from organic farming (PDO Umbria Colli Assisi-Spoleto) , legumes and cereals from organic farming, black truffle, cheeses, PDO cold meats, Cascia saffron, Slow Food products.
We carefully select raw materials and suppliers (mostly local producers). We use products according to their seasonality and transform them with care. Our pasta is strictly homemade.
The presentation of our dishes is simple but every detail is carefully curated. Service is à l’assiette.
Vegetarian and vegan menus are available. Menu for people suffering food allergies or with food related problems (menu for celiac available)
Our waiting staff is highly qualified (waiter/guest ratio 1:10). English spoken.
